Dating scan wrexham
Ive booked mine for when I'm almost eight weeks I've had it with baby bond It's cost 100 for an early reassurance scan it's next Saturday eeekkkkkk lol I wanted it because my friend recently went through a mmc and I don't think I could cope with that, I know it could still happen but you have to grab every bit of reassurance you can xxxx I had an early scan done at 9 weeks because I had a previous mc and was bleeding at the start of this pregnancy, to which I was told nothing could be done.
Then I had severe pains and suspected ectopic pregnancy and was told to wait to see if pain went.
If your baby is over 14 weeks gestation we will take measurements of your baby’s head (bi-parietal diameter and head circumference) and femur (thigh bone).
The measurements will give you an Expected Date of Delivery (EDD). We will point this out for you to see and take a trace of your baby’s heartbeat.
Located within our Croesnewydd Hall Clinic based in Wrexham, conveniently located on the North Wales and Cheshire border our expert team of clinical practitioners provide a truly bespoke and individually tailored scanning experiences for expecting mothers.A 4D scan during this period, seeing your baby move, yawn, suck it’s thumb etc is very reassuring and can also assist with the bonding process.Available form as little as 6 weeks gestation An early pregnancy scan confirms the presence of a fetal heart beat, designed to provide expecting mothers with reassurance when experiencing early pregnancy bleeding or pain. With your permission, we will also contact your local hospital’s Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit or your GP so that further medical follow-up can be made and issue a report which you can either take with you or we can fax to the relevant professional.Babyvision uses excellent quality ultrasound equipment to obtain the best images, however, if you attend Babyvision and your pregnancy is earlier than 6 weeks gestation or we are unable to confirm an early viable pregnancy due to reduced image quality (which may happen if the uterus is retroverted which means tilted back or have a high BMI) we may offer a transvaginal (internal) scan during your appointment.
If a problem is detected whilst we do not wish to worry you about your pregnancy we think it is important for you to have the knowledge that you will be looked after carefully and professionally.
